How did we end up here?

Having been a huge Arsenal fan for over 20 years, every young fans dream came true for me for the 21/22 season, when I was offered a season ticket for the upcoming season.

Even though it had been a difficult couple of seasons, the chance to jump the waiting list and get a ticket of my own was worth the potentially disastrous season!

As it turned out, it was a breakthrough year for both Saka and Smith-Rowe and an un-fancied Arsenal team were unlucky to miss out on the top 4.

The connection that I felt to the club, and the comradery with my fellow match-going fans elevated the experience of supporting a club I’ve spent 2 decades going from League winners and “Invincibles” to fodder for those challenging for the title.

Since then the elevation under Arteta has allowed me to live and breath supporting the club, and moments such as Bournemouth 23/24 (thank you Reiss) have become a (slightly too!) regular occurrence.

Going to home games week in and week out is fairly new, but I have been a fan of shirts ever since I got my first paycheque. I can distinctly remember buying the redcurrent 05/06 home shirt with Hleb on along with the home shirt from the season before.

Now, I have a couple of match-worns, some match-issued and also an annually expanding selection of all Adidas Home, Away and Third Authentic shirts.

Finally, sourcing and printing shirts is another passion of mine. If it isn’t official, then I’m not interested! Each shirt is honestly assessed and I am always looking for the best used shirts, or brand new with tags.
