About The Season

Arsenal's 2019-20 season was one of transition, marked by managerial changes and a shift in fortunes. After Unai Emery was sacked in November, Mikel Arteta took over as head coach. The team finished 8th in the Premier League, missing out on European qualification. However, Arteta led Arsenal to a memorable FA Cup victory, beating Chelsea 2-1 in the final, securing the club's 14th FA Cup trophy.

Arsenal also won the Community Shield in August 2020, beating Liverpool on penalties. Despite the cup successes, inconsistency in the league and struggles with attacking form were key challenges throughout the season.
