Terms & Conditions

The practical stuff: ordering, delivery, returns, customisation and your rights when shopping with N5.
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from N5 Shirts through our online store. By placing an order with N5 Shirts, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About N5 Shirts
N5 Shirts is an independent retailer specialising in football shirts, namesets, patches, printing and related products.
In these terms, references to “N5”, “N5 Shirts”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean:
Premier Shirts Limited Trading as N5 Shirts
PO Box 4665, Dunstable, LU6 9XL
highbury@n5shirts.co.uk
Company Number 13869982
References to “you” or “customer” mean the person placing an order through our store.
2. Our products
We take reasonable care to ensure our products are described and photographed accurately.
Our range includes both new and pre-owned products. Many of the football shirts sold by N5 are pre-owned, vintage or previously worn and may therefore show signs of age, wear or previous use.
Where reasonably possible, significant defects, marks or other notable condition issues will be identified in the product description and/or photographs.
Please examine the photographs and product description carefully before ordering. The photographs form part of our description of pre-owned products.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, photography and the screen or device used to view our website.
Measurements, where provided, are approximate.
Goods supplied by N5 must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable.
3. Pre-owned and vintage items
The condition of a pre-owned or vintage item should be considered in the context of its age, description, photographs and any defects disclosed before purchase.
Reasonable signs of age, previous use or wear which have been clearly described or shown in the listing do not necessarily mean that an item is faulty.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, materially not as described or otherwise fails to meet the standards required by law.
4. Authenticity and product descriptions
We take reasonable care when sourcing, assessing and describing the products we sell.
Where a product is described as official, authentic, original, reproduction, replica, aftermarket or otherwise, that description forms part of the product listing.
Customers should read the individual product description before ordering.
References to football clubs, manufacturers, competitions, players and other third parties are used for identification and descriptive purposes and do not imply an association with, sponsorship by or endorsement from those organisations or individuals.
5. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.
Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where, for example:
- a product is no longer available;
- we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
- we identify an obvious error in the price or product information;
- we are unable to fulfil a customisation request; or
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, the relevant amount will be refunded.
6. Prices and payment
Product prices are those displayed on the website when you place your order.
Any applicable delivery charges, taxes or other charges collected by N5 will be displayed before you complete checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before we can fulfil an order.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to supply a product at the incorrect price where it would have been reasonable for the customer to recognise that an error had occurred.
7. Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Many of our pre-owned shirts and other items are individual pieces and may only be available in a quantity of one.
Although our inventory is managed electronically, circumstances can occasionally arise where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed.
If we cannot supply an item, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for that item.
8. Delivery
Available delivery methods and charges are displayed at checkout and further information is provided in our Shipping Policy.
Orders are sent using tracked delivery services where stated. The delivery provider used may vary according to destination, parcel size, service availability and other operational requirements.
Any delivery times shown are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and other charges will be dealt with according to the terms shown at checkout and our current Shipping Policy.
9. UK change-of-mind returns
For most products purchased online, UK consumers have a statutory right to change their mind.
You must tell us that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.
After telling us that you wish to cancel, you then have 14 days to return the goods.
You do not need to give us a reason for exercising this statutory right. These periods reflect the UK rules applicable to distance sales.
To arrange a return, please contact N5 Shirts using the details provided on our website.
Return postage
For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to N5 Shirts.
We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage until your refund has been completed.
If an item is faulty, incorrect or not as described, different rules apply as explained below.
10. Condition of returned goods
You may examine and handle an item to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition, in much the same way as you could examine an item in a shop.
Returned items should therefore be returned in substantially the same condition in which they were received.
Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary and causes the value of the product to be reduced, we may make a deduction from the refund where permitted by law. UK guidance specifically recognises this distinction for online returns.
Please take particular care with football shirts when trying them on. We recommend avoiding contact with deodorant, fragrance, make-up or anything else that could mark or damage the garment.
11. Refunds for change-of-mind returns
For an eligible change-of-mind cancellation, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods.
Where required by UK consumer law, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option that was available for your order.
If you selected an enhanced, express or otherwise more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery service.
The cost of returning a change-of-mind purchase to N5 Shirts is the customer's responsibility and will not be refunded.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Where permitted by law, we may withhold a refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back.
We will process eligible refunds within the applicable statutory period.
12. Personalised and customised products
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not generally apply to goods which have been made to your specification or clearly personalised.
This may include, where applicable:
- shirts printed with a name and/or number specifically at your request;
- customised namesets;
- personalised printing;
- products altered specifically to your requirements; and
- other clearly personalised products.
Once work on a personalised product has commenced, it may therefore not be possible to cancel or return the product simply because you have changed your mind.
Please check all names, numbers, spelling, sizing, colours, positioning and other customisation options carefully before submitting your order.
This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights if a personalised product is faulty, incorrectly supplied, not as ordered or not as described.
13. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed products
Your legal rights in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are separate from our change-of-mind return arrangements.
If you believe an item is faulty, has arrived damaged, is incorrect or is materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may ask you to provide photographs or other reasonable information so that we can assess the problem.
Where goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described, we will deal with the matter in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict those rights. Consumer contract terms must remain fair and cannot simply remove statutory consumer protections.
14. Incorrect customer information
Please ensure that your delivery address, email address and other order information are correct before completing checkout.
If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us as quickly as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be amended once it has entered the fulfilment or dispatch process.
Where an order cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, additional delivery charges may apply before the order can be sent again, where legally permissible.
15. Promotions and discount codes
Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions stated when the promotion is offered.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined with other offers.
We may withdraw or amend a promotion where there is a genuine error or where misuse or fraud is reasonably suspected, subject always to orders and rights already legally established.
16. Website availability and errors
We take reasonable care to keep the N5 Shirts website accurate and operational.
Occasionally, errors may occur in product descriptions, pricing, stock information, imagery or other website content.
We may correct genuine errors when identified.
We cannot guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or completely free from technical problems.
17. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the N5 Shirts name, branding, original photography, editorial content, written copy, graphics and other original website material belong to N5 Shirts or are used by us with permission.
They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission except where permitted by law.
Football club names and badges, manufacturer names and logos, competition marks and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
N5 Shirts is an independent retailer and references to these third parties do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or for losses arising from matters for which we are not legally responsible.
If you purchase from N5 Shirts as a consumer, we do not exclude or limit liability in a way prohibited by applicable consumer law.
19. Privacy and personal information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information provided when placing an order will be used as necessary to process your purchase, arrange payment, fulfil and deliver your order, provide customer service and meet our legal obligations.
Payment information is processed through the payment methods and providers made available through our online store.
Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.
20. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable law.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to an order that has already been accepted.
The terms applicable to an order will be those in effect when that order was placed.
21. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and rights applicable in the country or part of the UK in which you live.
Nothing in these terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory legal protections that apply to them.
